This wonderful, outdoor, destination wedding on Oahu’s North Shore was a visual feast to photograph!! It included both stylish decor, very specific dress attire and carefully curated, tasty food. Our brilliant and beautiful bride, Brittany is a corporate event planner and it was clear that she was a good one when I talked with her before her wedding. She was very assertive and clear in talking about her vision for her wedding. She even admitted that it was going to be tough for her to relax on her wedding day because she was so used to being in total control and having a lot of responsibility over making sure things around her go perfectly. 

Brittany and Steve designed their special day to have a comfortable backyard picnic-style feel with really high quality foods and wine pairings. Most of the guests in attendance were fine wine lovers and the pairings were created by winemaker friends of the couple who also attended the wedding. 

I was really engaged all day with both beautiful and fun things to photograph. The decor included wooden chairs and tabletops, covered in tropical green garlands with gold silverware and crystal stemware as visual accents. Dinner was arranged as one really long table (I LOVED that!!). Lastly, the attire was all white, which was really cool and unique, especially since traditionally speaking, wearing white for anyone beside the bride and groom is off-limits.
