Free spirits, Julie and Kevin journeyed from NYC to have their outdoor destination wedding day on the Windward side of Oahu in the hills of Kualoa Ranch. Julie is a dancer and Kevin is a scientist, originally from Hawaii, who studies bats. Cool jobs!

The ceremony incorporated the Hawaiian tradition of the Hawaiian wedding conch blown by the groom’s bother and also a butterfly release brought to us by Share the Butterfly Experience. The reception program was beautifully conducted by DJ Kevo Okutani of Bliss DJs, who inspired a lot of emphatic movements afterwards (Julie’s a dancer, after all!)

Paliku Gardens provides an incredible vista of the Pacific Ocean as well as the Ko’olau Mountain range, great for a killer portrait backdrops.
